Oh, Kensi and Deeks!
After being partners for years and suppressing their feelings for each other, Kensi and Deeks slowly opened up their hearts and then finally let the truth out. They care about each other ... a lot!
They haven't said the big "L" word yet, so I won't put words in their mouth, but they were certainly headed in that direction until the job interfered and Kensi was shipped off to Afghanistan without a word to Deeks.
They went from the high of trusting the other to give a relationship a try to the low of being separated.

Deeks didn't come out and declare his love for Kensi, but this was the conversation that changed everything for these partners. Snyder's death allowed their hearts to open just a little. "You smell like sunshine and gun powder. Two of my favorite things."
2. Deeks Finds the Box
The mysterious box that Kensi had on her desk reappears a few weeks later on Deeks' desk. What's in it? We'll have to wait to find out. Deeks has it, but hasn't opened it yet.

Kensi: Yeah. You?

Deeks: Okay. That's good. We're good. Which is, you know, great.

Deeks went under as a former cover and he had to work with his former girlfriend asset. Feelings!

Deeks kisses Kensi! He always had trouble with words so he went for it and kissed her.

If this was Lost, this was the moment that Deeks declared that Kensi was his constant. She got him through the torture and recovery. "Kens, I just want you know that the place that I went to in my head to stop the pain was you. I just kept thinking about your smile, and your laugh. Everything. It's the only thing that got me through. For whatever it's worth."
6. Deeks Sleeps!
"It's a love story." - Deeks had a difficult time after he was tortured. When Kensi came over and sat with him, he finally was able to fall asleep.
Kensi: Because once again you're trying to say something without actually saying it. And it's driving me nuts.
Deeks: I think you lost me.
Kensi: No. I don't think I did. I think you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Deeks: Do I?

Deeks takes Kensi out to dinner and she confronts him about what it means. They have their first real honest heart-to-heart.
